How long will it take to recieve my order?

Orders containing live animals are shipped Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This ensures that they can be shipped express and not held at a shipping facility over the weekend. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

What are your shipping fees?

Shipping fees depend on the size and weight of your order, as well as your delivery location. You can view the shipping cost during the checkout process.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to make changes.

What should I do if my live animals arrive dead on arrival (DOA)?

We put great care into ensuring our live animals arrive at your door safely. Unfortunately due to the nature of shipping, DOA can still occur. We understand that receiving a DOA can be upsetting. In the unlikely event that this happens, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours) with photos of the original sealed packaging. We will assess the situation and offer a replacement or store credit, depending on the circumstances.

We are unable to assist if:

  • No-one is present to receive the consignment at time of delivery and the consignment is left unattended at the destination.
  • The fish are not held at the delivery address and/or are on-sold or transferred to another person.

Where can I learn about fish keeping?

We provide detailed care instructions for all live animals, which can be found in our product descriptions or in our "library". Our library is a comprehensive resource filled with helpful articles, guides, and tips on aquarium care, fish health, water quality and more.

It is important to do thorough research before taking on the responsibility of a new pet and there are many resources online, outside of our library, that you can use to do further studies. These include, youtube, wikipedia and various online forums.
